Austin. Live music capital of the world. Silicon Hills. The blueberry in the tomato soup. Austin is experiencing a boom of cultural clout, popularity and prosperity.
The City of Austin wants to make sure that as our city grows, all of our communities have the opportunity to grow with it. The Chief Equity Officer takes action to ensure that our commitment to social equity is carried out throughout city government and the community.
I am one of the finalists for this position.
Here is the first opportunity I think you should know about: On August 25th, meet myself and the three other candidates for Chief Equity Officer.
I am requesting your presence because all candidates should hear, be inspired and led by the community’s collective wisdom. It is also the perfect time for you to begin a relationship with someone who could greatly effect your well-being and economic future.
Don’t you want to weigh in on who that person might be?
Austin is a trailblazing city. We have the chance to be the model for equity, proactively built into the structure of our government. Please come out to a City of Austin Town Hall Meeting and meet the candidates for Chief Equity Officer.
